Whenever I open a package I've received as a result of ordering anything online sight unseen--& especially jewelry--I have developed this little ritual of closing my eyes as the item is about to be revealed, as I say a mantra to myself of 'please let it be what I ordered...please let it be lovely & a good--if not great--quality.' Â Seriously. Â I say it at least a few times in my head, not outloud!, finish unwrapping, then open my eyes. Â Im telling you my process because when I opened the RS's lovely brown w/lime green trim box, then the supple matching suede-type bag the earrings were in, then poured them into my hand...I am not exaggerating to say my mouth dropped open. Â These black & gold beauties appear as luxurious as if the gold scrolling design (which is on all but the very back), is pure gold. Â They...are...beautiful - and I am all about quality & beauty, and uber picky about...well, everything. Â Money doesn't grow on trees in my yard. Â These are drop dead gorgeous...the photo in the catalog & online just doesn't capture it. Â They have some weight to them...and I'm not implying pull-your-ears-down heavy. Â I'm referring to quality weight. Â Really, they couldn't have made these better in any way. Â I actually love these.
