    I got this because the diamonds and rubies in silver matched a ring I recently bought from here. The photo looked great, and I thought it was just the right thing. And it was, when I initially pulled it out of the bag it came in. When I looked at the rubies closely under the light, however, each one of them looked like it was scratched up on each side of the gem, and most of the rubies had noticeable black spots on them. I guess if no one examines the necklace too closely, it doesn't matter, but I guess I was expecting a bit more of a polished and smooth surface to the gems. I suppose for the price paid, the black spots are to be expected since they aren't top-quality gems. The scratchy-looking texture to the rubies, though put me off a bit. Not as thrilled with this piece as I was with the ring.

    Awful

    The rubies are dull and cloudy......no shine at all. The diamonds are non-existant. I actually thought that they sent me a necklace without diamonds. I had to get my readers on to see the area where the supposed diamonds were placed. They actually looked like just a splatter of chain. I was not expecting significant diamonds for the price but this would have been better without.
