Made With Purpose
The tube bail developed as an alternative to the loop bail by redirecting the chain's path from vertical loop to horizontal passage through a cylinder. The weight distribution is across the full tube width rather than at a single point. The result has a different profile at the connection point and a different hang angle for the pendant than a loop bail.
