Built For Ease

A clutch back positioned flush to the earlobe holds the earring face flat against the lobe with no gap, the post fully consumed between the front fitting and the back. As the back moves further down the post, a gap opens between the lobe and the earring, changing the contact angle and allowing the earring face to tilt forward rather than sit perpendicular to the lobe.

Made With Purpose

Bezel fabrication is a precise sequence: metal strip or tube is shaped to the girdle, soldered to the base, and then burnished over the stone with a setting tool, even pressure applied around the full perimeter is what makes the setting secure.

Stone Story
