Visually Speaking
At a bezel border, the milgrain bead row sits at the metal edge where the setting wall meets the ring's open surface. Along a pave or channel-set stone row, it runs parallel to the outermost stones, creating a physical and visual boundary at the perimeter of the stone field. The bead row is raised slightly above both adjacent surfaces, which makes the boundary between stone field and metal legible by touch as well as sight.
