Origin Story

Mozambican rubies emerged from deposits in the Montepuez region, producing stones with fine color that achieved laboratory certification and auction recognition within years of commercial production beginning. Thai rubies tend toward darker, more brownish red. Sri Lankan stones are often lighter. Each source produces a characteristically different stone.

Made With Purpose

The revolver clasp holds because the barrel's rotation and the strand's tension are perpendicular forces. Linear pull on the piece produces no torque on the barrel, leaving the mechanism engaged regardless of how the piece moves during wear.
