Natural diamonds are carried to the surface by violent volcanic eruptions through pipe-like formations. The diamond-bearing rock solidifies after eruption, and these pipes have become the primary target of diamond mining operations worldwide.

A Storied Heritage

Push button clasps became a fine jewelry standard in the mid-twentieth century because bracelet and link chain styles of that era needed closures that were secure without visible hardware breaking the design.
