Wire loop bails present a simple metal ring at the pendant's top. Tube bails sit horizontally, the chain passing through a cylindrical form. Bail clips attach to the pendant without soldering. Hinged bails open and close mechanically. Decorative bails become part of the pendant's design rather than a functional addition above it. Each type produces a different physical connection point, a different hang angle, and a different relationship between pendant and chain.
