Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds — identical to mined stones in every optical, physical, and chemical property. The difference is origin, not quality.
They're created through two processes: HPHT (high pressure, high temperature) and CVD (chemical vapor deposition), both replicating the conditions that form diamonds in the earth. Same hardness. Same brilliance. Same 4Cs apply — cut, color, clarity, carat. A gemologist cannot tell them apart without specialized equipment.
What changes is access. Carat weights and styles that weren't within reach before, now are.
