PLATINUM: A rare precious metal cherished for its longevity and strength. Platinum is naturally white, durable, dense, and resilient to discoloration. Most platinum in jewelry is at least 95% pure since it does not require alloys or plating.

TANZANITE: Found in the 1960's, tanzanite is new and rare discovery that captures magnificent shades of purple, violet and blue. Its crystal structure allows light to enter the stone and divide into two or three sectors which enhances the intensity of color. Tanzanite is an alternate for December birthstones.

PEAR: Similar to the outline of a pear fruit, this is a round shape that comes to a point on one side.
