I had originally bought the green peridot version of these earrings for a friend's birthday. But since they were on sale, I decided to splurge and get myself a pair as well, in the topaz.
The topaz is very blue, just as in the photo. The little diamonds in the halo setting and up the front of the wire have lots of sparkle. And the drop length is just enough.
I'm a brunette and these earrings have enough impact that they don't get lost in my hair. My friend, who's a redhead also loved her peridot earrings and they look great on her.
Since the wires are open, I got a package of small, clear, rubbery earring backs to guard against loss. I've already decided that if I do lose one, I'll have the other made into a pendant -- it's a good size for that.
