STUD: An earring that sits stationary on the ear and doesn't drop below the lobe.
14KT: Karat (abbreviated kt or K) is a unit that indicates the purity of gold in the metal. 14kt is 58.33% gold. In the United States, 14K yellow gold is most favored and used in jewelry.
WHITE GOLD: Gold is a precious metal which is naturally quite soft. To give it a white color and increase its strength, gold is alloyed with white metals, such as silver and/or palladium, and often plated with rhodium. The purity of the metal is indicated by a unit called a "karat," with 24kt having the highest percentage of natural gold.
POLISHED: A buffed-out finish used to produce a mirror-like shine.
POST/CLUTCH: An earring with a post insert and a slide-on clutch backing to hold it in place.
Stones per Earring:
Diamond: The hardest and most brilliant of all gemstones, a diamond can make the heart race with its pure and fiery spark. An ancient symbol of love, a diamond is the preferred gemstone for tokens of affection, such as rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Diamond is the birthstone for April.
(Quantity: 2, Shape & Cutting Style: Round Brilliant,
BRILLIANT: A gemstone cut to enhance brilliance without sacrificing much carat weight. Typically has 58 facets.
Color Grade: I-J, Clarity: I2, Weight: 1.00 ct. t.w.)
I bought these earrings nothing absolutely nothing about earrings or jewelry in general (never had much use for the stuff). But I understand the women simply love this stuff (especially diamonds) so I bought a pair. They look very brilliant and well made (from my novice point of view). I haven't given them away as a gift yet but it should make the receiving part extremely happy (and make me happy as well). I really like the SmartPay feature too (need it on more selections).

Bottom Line: I would recommend this to a friend!

acceptable but not wonderful
the stones are fine but the settings seemÂ
cheap - not true threaded posts but loose push posts that seem precarious, especially since the posts are very short, as if skimping on gold. Â If I lose one because the back comes off I will wish I'd returned them
