light colored amethyst
The amethyst stones have a lot of sparkle, but are a lighter purple then the picture displays.
The picture depicts a circlet of diamonds surrounding the shield with a small amount of separation between the shield of amethyst and the surrounding diamonds. In fact there is no separation in the actual ring The border is not as lacy or curved as pictured. The picture demonstrates more separation between the amethyst than the ring demonstrates
