STERLING SILVER: Also known as "Standard Silver," sterling silver is silver alloyed with other metals to increase the hardness and durability. Generally, sterling is 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. Some sterling silver jewelry is plated with 14kt-18kt gold and referred to as "vermeil," or "gold over sterling."
POLISHED: A buffed-out finish used to produce a mirror-like shine.
ROLO: A chain comprised of interlocking circle-links.
LOBSTER CLASP: named after the pinching style of the hook, this clasp is often shaped like a lobster's claw. Use your finger to work the lever to open the clasp.
HINGED: A bale with a hinge. The hinge allows the pendant to be placed on and taken off a chain easily and without sliding. Ideal for putting pendants on chains that have large clasps.
Diamond: The hardest and most brilliant of all gemstones, a diamond can make the heart race with its pure and fiery spark. An ancient symbol of love, a diamond is the preferred gemstone for tokens of affection, such as rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Diamond is the birthstone for April.

So surprised that even though this piece has only .25 ct. t.w. diamonds...because of how this is designed, the entire piece looks as if it has a LOT of diamonds...but not fakey-looking diamonds........ I took it out of its gorgeous box and unsnapped it from its super soft lovely pale green material its encased in, and it's incredible. I felt like a lesser royalty when I put it on...... In other words, it can be worn with extremely formal gowns, but I don't happen to have those. I do have nice blouses and jackets, and this necklace looks just as lovely and not like I'm over-dressed with this particupar piece...... It's beautiful. The picture does nothing for this piece. I thought I'd give it a try...and I'm soooo glad I did. My favorite necklace to date, and most expensive looking yet versatile. Figure that out.

This delicate pendant on a chain that complimented it perfectly received many positive comments when I wore it to an evening wedding. Â This gave the shimmer I needed to set off, and give a contemporary look to a lace dress, without being ostentatious. The necklace was delicate, yet it stood out, very important for someone who is petite, yet wants the elegance of diamonds. Â I tried several necklaces before I found the perfect solution. Â It was well worth the time and effort. Â
