Perfect Labradorite drops

A Treasure

So far, in several orders, I think I have purchased 3 or 4 pairs of these earrings. Christmas is coming up quickly. I purchased them with several nieces in mind, all in their early or mid-twenties. They are contemporary in style, yet an example of "better jewelry". I am trying to influence their tastes!

So-So

The stones are washed out and do not have that luminous change of color that better quality labradorite has. Labradorite is not a rare stone. Why do they charge so much for it?
