These earrings are much prettier than I thought they would be for that price. I saw a pair of emerald earrings on Angelina Jolie, and these are just as pretty to me as those were. Im sure hers cost a heck of a lot more money!! I really like them, and I would tell women who want a pair of emerald earrings but dont the budget of Angelina Jolie, to at least try these. Not a fan of silver but...

I don't usually wear silver jewelry, but I love the look of these earrings.  So, I purchased them anyway and took them to my jeweler, who changed them to shepherd's hook earrings and dipped them in 18K for me.  Now they are fabulous and a must have pair of earrings for me.

I was really happy when I received these earrings - they are beautiful! The only thing I'd like better would be leverbacks, so I took them to my jeweler and had them converted.

everyday glamour or dress-up

I love to rock these earrings during the day at work as well as on dressy occasions! Of course, the quality of the emeralds is not what you'd get in a pair worth thousands (a bit opaque with inclusions), but they have terrific charm and rich color of their own. Although they are substantial (I'm not a person on whom delicate jewelry works), they are definitely NOT overboard for the professional workplace or office. They are also refined looking for an evening out to dinner and a show. I wear them with R-S's faceted green agate ring in sterling silver (I don't generally care for a gold tone) and they work great together - not too matchy-matchy.

I don't care for the filigree on the bales on the teardrops. They distract from the stones. I had them looked at to be reset and apparently they do have to be as wide as they are. I just wanted something less fussy. I'm going to have them reset.

Very pretty but design flaw

These are a great value. However, the drop is connected to the post part in the wrong place which causes the drop to fall at a funny angle. I had my pair fixed by my local jeweler and I now love them.

HUGE Emerald Earrings

I'm a big fan of bold beautiful jewels. These earrings definitely fit that description. They are dynamic and stand out. The color is a little dark for me but still glowing and worth it. They are light weight on the ear and make quite a statment. Would love to see them in yellow gold and available in amethyst, sapphire, and moonstone! The only 'improvment' I would make is to attach the drop in the middle of the metal rather than on the back edge - they would dangle and show a little better.

These rough cut emeralds are so large and captivating. They are dark green and although they have inclusions, they are not light and cloudy like most emerald earrings that are not lab created. As long as you don't expect crisp, clear leaf green stones, I think you will be very happy with these earrings. For the price, I was delighted.

Emerald earrings

These earrings are beautiful with gemstones perfect in color however they are heavy. The weight of the real emerald is " weighty" and the post setting pulls on the ear and is sadly uncomfortable even with help of a bigger " back" which I exchanged to help balance. This setting is not recommended for ladies who already have larger holes in their lobes. French wire, eurowire or even a post setting with an " omega" back would have given this nice earring a perfect score.

Poor quality

When I received these, one of the main stone fell out of the setting. I have not worn these yet. I put it back in, glued it and tightened the setting. Hopefully I will not lose the stone when I do wear them. If they had put a jump ring between the small and large stone, it would have given these more movement and they would have hung better. I might consider adding in the future.

Solid color, not emerald

I did buy these earrings because the description said natural stone, emerald, but when I got them the stone does not look like an emerald.  The color is solid, and not translucid like emeralds are. The earrings look like cheap plastic and silver.

to heavy, dyed job very poor, they look more like a bad quality of jade than emeralds, Silver's work low quality they be sell as second quality, price- quality desproportionated, if you want to improve the Item make then half the actual size better , silversmith work and french or lever back.

Stones fall out of settings.

The stones are beautiful. But they might as well be worthless if they don't stay in the settings. I purchased this set of earrings with another set of earrings. It also had the stone fall out of the settings. So, in my opinion, the stones are great, but the settings are cheap and do not hold the stones properly, resulting in the inability of usage for this item.

Picture very deceiving from how these earrings actually look. The silver work is cheap looking, not authentic at all- the green stone is quite large and sits very high on top of the silver setting,I wish I had returned them when I received them.
