    Beautiful but you need to substitute disc backs due to weight of earring

    Beautiful stones!

    These earrings have real "presence" --- they are huge!  The amethysts are beautiful --- great color.  They are also surprisingly not too heavy.  The reason for my rating of a "4" rather than a "5" is that the earring backs are too small to support such large earrings.  I am using other backs I have that are MUCH larger.

    These earrings are pretty but.....

    These earrings are pretty but first off one of the amethyst cabachons were loose and in the bottom of the bag. I managed to put it back into it's prong setting and tighten the prongs down, but I shouldn't have had to do that. I also think these would look a lot better if they'd sprinkled some white topaz here and there to give the earrings some sparkle.
