    OK, for the price paid.

    Hard to rate these. If they had cost any more than the extreme sale price I paid, I would have to give a lower rating, so this rating is based that price. I knew these were rough-cut and opaque so if you buy them, don't expect translucency and light to shine through. They are well-matched in size, cut and color and for casual, everyday earrings they do nicely. Keep in mind, you will not get gem-quality stones of any kind unless you pay what that quality demands. A minor problem, because silver is so soft, one of the prongs was bent a bit, not enough to be unwearable though. Overall, I don't regret my purchase, just helping you to know what you're getting so you aren't disappointed.

    These look more like jade than emeralds, but I expected that based on the rough cut and size. Still a fantastic bargain and the sterling mounts are substantial.
