Wow! This 25 ct amythist checker board cut ring is a show stopper and great conversation peice. The product is excellent. Ross-Simons does detail well. Love this ring !

This ring is drop-dead gorgeous. Big, bold and sassy - with a deep rich-colored stone and a wide shiny silver filigreed band. The band is light in weight and counteracts the weight of the stone so the entire ring is comfortable to wear. Definitely a pleasure to look at and to wear.

Beautiful Ring

If you want a big ring this is the one for you! Would suggest a larger hand for this one as the ring extends all the way to your knuckle! Amethyst color is a deep purple but light enough to see through. The silver work is beautiful very detailed. Have gotten tons of comments on this everytime I wear it, just wish it was stamped with silver stamp.

I love this ring! Almost sent it back because of imperfections in the stone, but decided to keep it. I kind of like imperfections in things and people. So, buy this ring and enjoy the tons of compliments you'll be getting! It's very unique and also very comfortable for it's size. Not a ring for wimps!:)

Impressive!!!

This ring is truly impressive! I have long fingers, so when I placed this ring on my middle finger, it looked great. The filigree work is beautiful and the stone is nice. There are some inclusions in the stone, but they don't take away from the overall look. I ordered a size 5, but the way this ring is molded, it felt more like size 6. I have a thin white gold band ring that I will use a ring guard because I intend to wear this ring alot.

Great stone, uncomfortable ring

The stone in wonderfully gaudy, but the ring is very long and uncomfortable for shorter fingers. It slides off more easily. People have commented on it and told my wife that it was a cocktail ring. My wife (and daughter) really like the ring.

PRODUCT IS LOVELY BUT A BIT TOO WIDE

I purchased this ring for my index finger. Although the filagree is quite lovely, it makes the ring too wide for fingers that are average in length. It would look best on someone with long, thin fingers. Nonetheless, the amethyst is beatiful.

Dramatic and stunning - from a distance...

This ring has a great presence, and makes a dramatic statement. Love the design. However, the stone is really poor quality on the ring I received. There is a great big, very visible crack right across the center of the stone. I don't mind a rough cut, imperfect, artsy kind of stone, at a great price. I get the concept. But this big crack really bothers me. I'm trying to decide if I should return it. If the stone breaks, what am I going to do with this ring? I'd certainly never find another stone to fit this unique mounting. I buy a lot from Ross-Simons, and I'm usually thrilled with my purchases when I receive them, but I'm sorry to say, that's not the case here. I'm on the fence about this one.

Not happy with this ring.

This is the third ring I received as the first two contained flaws. The first ring had chips on the surface, the second had smudges on side surface now this on has flaws on both end looks cloudy. I do not feel like going thru any returns it is very time consuming and frustrating.
