    'Burnished' emeralds--stable?

    I really like the look and feel of this Sterling silver bangle. The emeralds have good color and sparkle. My only fear is that the stones which are 'burnished' into the metal may fall out. In the meantime, I plan to enjoy wearing it and hope that I don't lose any stones.
