I was amazed when I received the pearl & amethyst necklace I ordered from Ross Simmons. I KNOW they're a quality company and trustworthy, but still I was a little skeptical about this necklace when I ordered it due to the low price. You know, worried it being "smaller" than it looks in the picture, etc... Any and all worries vanished when I opened the wrapping. It looked BETTER than the picture. It's beautiful!!!

Pretty colors/combinations

I love the combination of colors/stones, it goes with several garments in my closet. HOWEVER - On the first wear one strand of amethyst came apart, the thread simply slipped out of the hole (which I think is too close to the edge) and separated from the other strands . I don't know if anyone else suffered the same fate - maybe I was just unlucky with my first purchases. It certainly won't prevent me from shopping at Ross-Simons in the future as there are other multi colored necklaces that I would like to own.

Disappointing

The purple pearls & the amethyst were two different shades which clashed. The amethyst arrived chipped on several places since it was not well packaged for shipping. Very disappointing.
