Beautiful pearls with great lustre.

I saw my pearls advised in Smithsonian Magazine and had to have them. International shipping to Australia only took a couple of days. An e-mail to Ross Simons was answered within a few hours - great customer service. I am sharing the site with friends here in Brisbane who just love my pearls.

I have worn this torsade many times. It is well put together and looks great with any outfit, day or evening. It is beautiful with any silver or gold chains also. I even mixed it with turquoise and also a a ruby and an emerald necklace, so it is very versatile. As I said. it goes with anything. love it!

I saw this necklace advertised in USA TODAY. I was with my sister, showed it to her, and we agreed that while it was a great deal, and it looked beautiful in the picture, it probably wouldn't be as nice in "real life". I decided to take a chance, and ordered it for a Christmas gift for her. When it arrived, I showed it to my wife, along with the picture that was in the newspaper ad, and we agreed that it was just as beautiful in "real life" as it was in the ad, if not more so. I ordered the cultured pearl torsade necklace for myself.  I found it to be quite exquisite.  It looked exactly like the picture.  The pearls were a nice size and color.  I had to return it after much debating, but the 18-inch necklace was too short.  I recommend it because it is a beautiful piece of jewelry.

Very lovely

I was very pleased with the looks and quality of this necklace.  However, you had to stretch it to call it 18" long.  I had to add an additional clasp so to not feel I was being choked.

Very lovely necklace and extremely well priced. The clasp, however, although very easy to work, comes undone easily. I'm wearing the piece for the 1st time today, and it has unclasped 4 times. So as long as you are careful, it should be OK.

I didn't realize that this was going to be a choaker necklace when I bought it. I'm not one to like things tight up around my neck. If it would have a little give in the way of some chain or something I would have liked it a great deal more. The pearls are very nice looking.

This necklace is very nice, but is shorter than listed in the catalog. The 20" version is not quite 19" which makes a difference on how it looks when worn. Also the length is even shorter when you twist it, as most people will to wear it.

I saw this necklace featured in one of the Boston newspapers and I thought it was very attractive and had a great price. I was dissapointed when the necklace arrived that it did not look like the picture. I would not have purchased it if I saw it live. Good lesson learned. I will say that the customer service and delivery were excellent. It arrived just days after I ordered it.
